1990 While everybody in the world thought that 100 hp should be enough for a
motorcycle, Kawasaki thought different. It introduced the ZZ-R 1100 / ZX-11.
Meant as an evolution of the ZX-10 it worked out like a revolution. The
perfomance of this bike was, and is, so earth-shattering, that voices were
heard that this must be the limit of what ordinary people could safely use.
(Suzuki didn't think so and gave it's GSX-R1100 155 hp).
