After (and with) a lot of doubts I sold my ZX-12R on this Saturday. The pictures and specs of the Kawasaki GTR1400 (Concours 14) looked and sounded very good and convinced me that this was a bike worthy of replacing the (almost) perfect 12. The expected price of the 1400 (more than 18,000 euros?) is such that I have so save money as much as I can. And so, with pain in my heart, the 12 had to go.
Now the very long wait starts for the GTR...

Sat on the black GTR today at a dealer show! The black version is quite beautiful too, and the exhaust isn't that conspicuous on this version. Fit and finish looked real good. Seating position was very nice. Can't wait to take the bike for a spin. According to the shop owner the GTR will possibly come in August to The Netherlands.
